East Midlands Regional Group

Children England's East Midlands Regional Group aims to improve the effectiveness of the children, young people and families, Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in the East Midlands by:

• Achieving policy change at local and regional level;
• Increasing the range and quality of CYP&F services offered;
• Improving the capacity of VCOs to represent the voice of service users.

Our Partnership is made up of a host of organisations from the children, young People and families Infrastructure VCS, Regional Sector Networks, Workforce Development organisations, Local Government and Local Authorities from across the East Midlands region.

The event, the culmination of ongoing discussions between Children England and Together for Children, sort to provide a sub national and organisational collaboration that helped Children's Trusts and their VCS partners think about the design and delivery of Children's Centres from April 2011.The event was designed for Children's Centre strategic leads, commissioners, and chief executives and managers from voluntary and community sector organisations that lead, or provide services for Children's Centres.
