Grooveschool runs DJ and music technology workshops for all ages and abilities. The organisation aims to benefit people by nurturing their creativity and invention. Target groups are people from low income families, NEET (“not in education, employment or training”), SEN/D (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), those with multiple disabilities, those in need as a result of unemployment, people in care and in hospices, also the elderly, especially Alzheimer sufferers. Currently the organisation provides community based workshops for 8-12 year olds and 13-19 year olds (up to 25 with SEN), three times a week.
